Way back in 1998, I must have somehow accidentally forgotten to number the 13th strip. I realized this mistake a few months  later, and back-filled the comic you see here. The caption was offered by a reader as part of a caption contest I held. Caption contests on the site were routine for the first two years of publication. Maybe I should bring that element back with the current strips?
